*What's In Your Basket?
The Easter basket filled with colored Easter eggs(beautiful!), chocolate
bunnies (YUM), jelly beans (Tasty!), and maybe a package of Peeps (YUK!). Easter
is filled with fun, new beginnings, calories, and Spiritual symbolism.
Do you remember coloring Easter eggs the old fashioned way? Remember the
smell of vinegar in the kitchen, the bowls of food coloring, the little wire hoops
that held the eggs? Whether they turned out dingy and drab or bright and colorful,
they were works of art. Then there was the hiding of eggs at Grandma's house.
We always went to my Grandma Todd's house. She was wonderful. Us kids could
do no wrong. She loved us without question and without judgement. If we wanted
a cookie for breakfast, we got it. She got all dewey eyed when she looked at
any one of us. She never had a favorite - well, maybe she did. We were all her
favorite! It was so easy to be good around Grandma Todd. We loved to make her
smile and to make her laugh. She had a really funny laugh which made us laugh
all the harder, too. There was a herd of us kids. She'd had a big family and
the older sisters had kids about the same age.
At Easter, we'd all get up early and go to church in Grandview. That was
the biggest service that church had all year! Everybody brought potluck. There
was more food than an army could eat, but we gave it our best efforts. Mom always
made a white cake with white frosting and white coconut sprinkled all over it.
Beautiful! It was really good, too. And they didn't have packaged mixes back
then - it was all from scratch.
After lunch, the oldest kids would hide eggs for us little ones. Hide is
not exactly the right word. They made sure the eggs peaked out from their hiding
places. No one cried because someone else got more - we all got enough. It was
the goal to see who found the prettiest ones or how many red ones you could find.
I don't know how that got started, but there was no competition for "the most"
eggs in the basket. No one cared. It was just fun.
Don't we spend our days trying to get "the most" in our baskets? Where
did that start? When will it end? Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could simply
enjoy the eggs we have?
Easter is a season of beginnings. Let's begin anew. For today, I'll see
the eggs in my basket and not compare them to someone else's basket. For today,
I'll appreciate the colors and decorations that fill my world. For today, I'll
allow someone else to have more than me. For today, I'll allow myself to look
for those hidden treasures that Spirit leaves peaking out from their hiding places.
For today, I'll remember that there is something wonderful out there waiting for
me to see or experience. Today, I'll look with joy.
Whether you have an Easter feast with family, or an Easter egg hunt with
the kids, or a quiet sunrise alone, know that we are experiencing Easter together,
you and I.
* A Blessing from the Ancient Ones
The Ancient Ones are a group of ascended beings that communicate to us love,
harmony, and personal development. People who have experienced the Ancient Ones
first hand say that they speak directly to your heart. I will type here exactly
what I hear them say. I have a sense that they are eager to share some thoughts
with us. Here we go . . .
"Dear Ones,
We are delighted to have the opportunity to communicate to you. This month
is rapidly becoming a month of change. It was not the initial purpose of this
month, however, so many beings have reached a level of openness that change is
occurring quickly. During this time of change, (and it may last a couple of months)
there are suggestions we have for you that will assist you and support you.
The changes we speak of do not include earth changes. Those may happen as
well, however, we are concerned with the changes that are happening within the
hearts of humanity. There has been so much suffering that pain perpetuates itself. -
A chain of pain - Perhaps you have heard old Biblical references to suffering
being handed down from father to child for seven generations. That seven generation
time is how long, in times past, that it takes a family to overcome ONE alcoholic
or ONE abusive parent. Now things are changing more rapidly.
If you have experienced an alcoholic parent, you can be free of the chain
of pain in THIS generation. If you have been abused, you can be free of the chain
of pain NOW. Now being this lifetime so that your children and your children's
children become free of any influence of this suffering in their lives.
Please know that the suffering of which we speak also encompasses low self
esteem, anger problems, and financial hardship as well. These all can fall away
as they are evidence of heart-suffering. Once the heart heals, the suffering
ends. Confidence, peace, and abundance result.
So allow us to assist in the healing process of change. First, let us acknowledge
that humanity doesn't like change. Sticking with an unpleasant known is more
comfortable than moving into a safe, comfortable, pleasant unknown! Let us take
some of the unknown out of it for you so that the transition is easier.
What is it that you'd like to change - or what is it that is creating suffering
in your life? Loneliness, financial hardship, physical ailments? Ah, but these
things do not create suffering. It is our emotional expectations and attachments
that create the suffering. Even the poorest folk, the sickest folk, or the person
living alone can be joyfilled and full of passionate living.
Even though you may feel the truth of this, it is unpleasant to think in
these terms. Wouldn't it be so much better of someone were to blame for our suffering?
If we do not have an external source for our suffering, then we turn to blame
ourselves for our suffering. Can that thought be released? Can suffering just
be an experience rather than a source of judgement?
Whatever state you are in at this moment in time, bless yourself, honor yourself, treasure
yourself. Are you experiencing hardships based upon past choices? Bless yourself,
honor yourself, treasure yourself. Each choice was the best choice you could
make at that time in that space. Even if you don't know why you chose things
that would bring you suffering, those choices were made so that you could survive
your environment. Bless yourself, honor yourself, treasure yourself because you
made it! You survived! You are alive today!
This day is the day of truth. This day is the day of awakening. This day
is the day of new beginnings. This is the day of change. The first and most
important change we would ask of you is this: Look into yourself. What grief
and suffering do you harbor within your heart? They are useless to your happiness
and spiritual development. You needed them in the past to help you survive.
Now you can stand by the Power of Spirit and the Evidence of Love and the grief
and suffering bring useless suffereing. Allow yourself to see your past as beyond
your reach. You can energetically change your past by disengaging from it. Like
using a stick shift, disengage from first by moving into neutral. From neutral
you can move into a higher gear that moves you forward faster, more easily with
less engine stress. First gear can only sustain you to about 20 miles an hour.
Your desire is to travel faster - much faster. Shift gears into another gear
by moving through neutral. Neutral is the disengagment of your past. Allow it
to exist without the need to feel it.
In this place of neutral lies the ability to bless one's self, honor one's
self, and treasure one's self. We exist in this place of neutral. We bless you
for your journey thus far and for your journey yet to unfold. We honor you for
your journey thus far and for your journey yet to unfold. We treasure you for
your journey thus far and your journey yet to unfold. For no other being is you.
No other entitity has your thoughts, feelings, strengths, abilities, purpose and
destiny. Your destiny awaits. It lies on the other side of self-treasuring,
and self-honoring, and self-blessing. Unlock your destiny in the place of neutral.
Obviosly, one cannot live in the place of neutral, another gear must be chosen
and energy applied to that path. Find moments to slip effortlessly into neutral
and back into gear. We await you there. We bless you there. We find you there.
*Spirit Messages
Spirit Messages are communications from your angels, guides and Divine Source.
When I focus in on someone or a situation, I receive messages for that person
or about that situation. If I allow my focus to expand, messages come for people
I don't even know. These will be brief. If it is for you, you will have a very
strong ring true and will feel the truth of it. Sometimes a message for someone
else contains information that others can use. Even if they name someone else,
look for valuable insights for yourself.
The first message is for Sam (Could be Samantha - can't tell) Please honor
yourself right now. Others attempt to ridicule you or find fault. Refrain from
believing their perception of you. It is only their opinion and in the long run,
their opinion is useless to you. You may view things differently or approach
things from a different angle from others. This in no way makes you wrong, it
makes you unique. Reserve "right" or "wrong" to moral issues that have value
to you. Release "right" or "wrong" when it comes to opinions. There is no "wrong"
way to hang a shirt. There are, however, ways that might offer ease of access.
Simple example to your complicated issue. It is outside of your power to make
others happy. It is inside your power to accomodate people when it serves the
highest and best good of all, including yourself. The situation you are in asks
you to relinquish your own personal value just to please another. What you choose
to do is a GIFT rather than a fulfilled expectation. Will they value the gift?
Will they expect more where that came from? We ask you to re-evaluate how much power
you give to another's opinion.
The next message is for Gary - "Times they are a changin'" to quote an old
song. And so are you a changin'. Doors open for you. Follow your heart even
if it leads you away from that open door. Your heart has it's own wisdom and
it's own destiny. What is it you really want from life? What is it you really
want from yourself? For you, your true joy is found in accomplishment. Realize
that just pushing yourself doesn't bring you what you want. Having a meaningful
goal and striving for it does bring you joy. Your heart makes a goal meaningful.
"Listen to your heart," to quote another song.
This message is for Alan - (It's coming through kinda wierd - other worldly
- a very different feeling) The crystaline energy that surrounds you is there
to protect you. When you bring your awareness to it, you can feel it hum in vibration.
This crystaline energy you've used in the past as a barrier between you and others.
It's purpose is to protect this is true. It's purpose is not to isolate. The
isolation you've created is more painful than the contact you fear. Breathe deeply
and allow the energy built up within the crystaline energy field around you to
release. Your awareness can and will make this happen. Address the fear of rejection
by allowing yourself to receive appreciation from others. That appreciation is there
for you, true? Look for it. We will assist you in this. Remember that with
each breath, you release that built up tension and you allow us to draw near to
assist.
*A New Vision
I've had a sense that some new information is going to come through. As
yet, I haven't a clue what this new vision is about. It will be new information
to me at the same time it is new information to you! How fun is that!
A New Vision awaits us dear ones. We stand at an opportune moment in time.
While others fixate on Earth changes and others obsess about Peace and the lack
thereof, we are being asked to consider a new vision. When one fixates on Earth
changes and any subsequent trauma that surrounds those changes, an energy field
is created that allows trauma to join change. Certainly, for humans, change is
traumatic even in its simplest forms. However, in the Celestial Realms, (The
Realms of Spirit and Love and Light and Joy) change is a matter of course and
involves neither trauma nor crisis.
When one obsesses on the lack of peace, it is the lack that is activated
and war reigns. We in the Celestial Realms offer gentleness, tenderness, and
compassion to those that suffer hardship at the hands of those that seek power
through control or fear. Such peoples retaliate out of their own hardship and
loss and lack. Bringing them an abundance of tenderness can ease their pain and
lessen their need to retaliate.
We tell you this . . . the old ways WILL pass for these people. Their traditions
are steeped in the glory of war and the thrill of victory. Their emotions run
hot at the percieved injustices at the hands of their enemies. These traditions
are passing. The war songs are still sung, the war stories are still told. The
old ones are unreachable to us. Yet, the young ones hear our songs and are awakening
to our stories of love and tenderness. Have hope for them.
Must peace wait until you pass from this life? Not if you allow your thinking to shift into a peaceful
state of tenderness. When you hear of a battle fought or a bomb going off killing
many, apply deep tenderness to the situation. Anger is only the reaction of a
fearful mind. Fear leads the mind to accusations and mistrust. Bring that fearful mind under
your command. Teach your mind a new song. Teach it a new way. Teach it a new
vision.
We attribute feelings to our heart, yet fear is generated by the mind. It
is the mind's judgement of a situation that breeds fear. Humanity has long lived
in a state of judgment. It is this state of judgement that the Celestial Realms
presently work to release. Judgment had its place and its time. Without judgment,
humanity would still be living under war lords and marauding bandits. Some countries
currently at war are BEGINNING to understand judgement in its appropriate form
of civilized living.
Yet, it is judgment that holds humanity back from its next step. Even those
that consider themselves "spiritually advanced" still attribute judgment to the
earth's changes as if humanity deserves to be destroyed by the benevolent power
of this planet. Dear ones! The planet earth is here to support you and bless
you, not destroy you! The planet earth came into vibrational being through the
conscious expression of joy, not hate!
Let go of this vision of an angry planet. This is simply untrue! If a two
year old is having a temper tantrum, does the parent attempt to destroy the child?
NO! An inept parent may make mistakes that create a devalued feeling in the child,
but even the worst parent attempts to protect and shelter a child. In the same
way, there may be consequenses to that teenager's behavior, yet the parent (even
in the depths of exasperation) does not attempt to extinguish the life of the
child. How is it humanity assumes it is so with the planet Earth? That is contrary
to the Celestial Realms. If a parent sees a two year old's tantrum for what it
is and remains calm while dealing with the child, the child has a renewed sense
of security because they cannot control their world with their own ravings. A
teen continues to rebel and experience consequences so that the teen can become
a self-governing adult.
Oceans have become deserts over time. Icy plains have become lush landscapes
over time. The face of the earth may change so that humanity must change, yet
the purpose of support and care remains. As you let go of the vision of an angry
planet, take on the vision of a benevolent planet, created for your playground,
your home, your garden. We in the Clestial Realms ask you to hold on to this vision.
So, now, we have addressed the new vision for those things outside yourself.
