What's Up?
Kirkman House Review

I've spent all morning attempting to write my newsletter using Microsoft's Vista version of Word.  I came pretty close to either hair-ripping or shrieking out of the room.  After using PageMaker for years and years and well, many years, it no longer is supported by any of the print shops in town.  Windows Vista Word has a zillion things it can do.  None of them easily.  I know it's possible to place text in a certain way on the page, but Word has only a limited number of ways in which it will allow me to work.  So, I either learn a new program, or I settle for what Word will do.  I am writing an article about 2012 and would like it to look nice as well as provide some important information.  Writing something important is doubly difficult when I am constantly struggling to get the program to perform.  I've decided to set it aside for awhile.

I'm really excited about my upcoming Intensive Tarot class!  I've had some wonderful insights and a visionary experience that I'm looking forward to sharing with that class.

There were many wonderful things that happened at the recent Kirkman House Museum "Voices From Beyond"!  AT one point we were connected in with someone's mother.  I asked if she looked a bit "off" in the casket.  Another group of sisters snickered and raised their hands saying it was their mother.  Their mother had a broken nose and never wore makeup in real life.  In the casket, her nose was straight and she had make up and they had done up her hair really nicely.  That didn't look like their mother at all!!  The mother had brought that message through as a confirmation that she was there.  No way anyone would know that except the family.  Later that same group of sisters asked if they could get a message from their mother.  I asked if there was a story or something funny about a frog.  They all cracked up laughing and said that was everyone's nickname for their dad - Frog!  Too funny.

there were other connections that were made - some sad, some sweet, some funny.  I am truly grateful that I have the opportunity to serve as a guest for the Kirkman House as a fund raiser for them and to serve those that attend by facilitating connections with the other side.  What a blessing to be a blessing.

Voices From Beyond

We had a full house at the event, Voices From Beyond.  We got some major connections and got some real blessings as a result.  I've been getting feedback from folks since the event and they have some great things to share.  The hardest part of the process is understanding the messages in the moment.  One husband was writing notes for his wife.  He got the impact of what was being communicated while she was just trying to absorb the experience.  Once he reminded her of what they had experienced earlier, a page being lifted by one corner, she was blown away!

One young man was there with his mother.  I was being shown ministerial robes.  He didn't seem to know what that was about until she took the microphone and related that he was studying to be a minister.  Sometimes the most obvious elude us the most easily!

One man was there to support his sister only.  A message came through for him . . . "I'm being shown lungs.  Did she have a lung issue?  Does anyone have a lung issue?"  He didn't say anything at the time, but he had gone to have a lung X-ray earlier that week!!  Unfortunately, he didn't acknowledge the contact so the contact withdrew and I didn't get anything else for him.  I think she wanted him to know that she was with him for the X-ray and would be with him whatever happened from there.

There is no shame - no blame on the psychic amnesia or being too shy or startled to be able to respond.  It's just sad that more could be communicated but the link slips away  - I let go if it is a thread of energy that is not confirmed.

One gal was receiving a message from a family member when the light in the room brightened substantially!  Phil and I went to the Sage Port for breakfast the next day and it was still burning brightly!  The restaurant owner said that the light is off or on and doesn't have a dimmer switch and the switch was across the room from anyone when the light got bright.  It was a wonderful confirmation!

There are too many stories to share.  One person got their friends favorite song.  Another got their grandfather's bootsteps.  All in all it was very enjoyable - hard work - but enjoyable and many were blessed!

There was a waiting list of about 15 people, so I may be doing another event soon!  I'll keep you posted!!

Way-Cool Class

Have to share!  I had a wonderful class this week with the Psychic Awareness class.  It was totally unbelievable and awesome!  There were seven people that had previously attended class and six new people.  We did something totally different than what we had done in the past, so everyone was from the same starting point.  We did psychometry which is the reading of physical objects.

Each person put an object in the hat and one by one a person would take an object out of the hat without looking at it and report what they were experiencing.  People that had never done anything like this before did GREAT!  People that had done different stuff, did GREAT!  It was such a blessing to see each person step out of their comfort zone and do the deal with an open heart and full of love.  Several people got some amazing readings from the experience - myself included.  Ellen 'read' me totally right on even though she was holding someone else's stuff - we may have touched and she clicked in to me or my object touched the other person's object - dont' know what happened, but the reading she gave was right on for me!  Later, Matt got the bracelett that I had dropped in the hat.  He stated a couple of things and as I was giving him feedback on the writing quill and ink pot that he mentioned, I burst into tears.

I love to write and know that I have something, or several somethings, of importance to write.  I often use the time that I set aside to write in order to take clients or respond to e-mails.  So, I haven't taken time to write in months.  I didn't realize how much my soul longs for that writing until I was unable to breathe when Matt did the reading.  Thanks Matt.

The first time I received the writing quill was probably 20 years ago.  I didn't believe that I was a writer and after a "sacred experience" I came to believe it.  Since that time, I periodically receive that same visual in classes where I am teaching people to do readings.  The energy is still there - the longing is still there - the opportunity will come.

It was such a blessing to receive a reading after all the readings I do for others.  It was a tremendous blessing to see every single person stand up and deliver from their heart.  That's what I am all about and it is such a joy tobe able to help people to get to that place.  One participant had never taken any classes from me previous to this one.  Yes, they have attended the Divine Fellowship for years and totally believe, yet they haven't really believed in their own abilities.  To see them not only open up and offer themselves as a gift, to see the person they read receive the information with such joy and gratitude - man -that's what it's all about in my book.  What a joyful rush that class was.  I look forward to the next one.

Oh!! I forgot to tell you.  When I was leaving the house for this class, I felt a pull to take my camera.  I never do that.  As a matter of fact, I blew it off twice until I was about out the door and felt a strong urge to go back and get it.  "You'll get orbs," I was told.  "Fine!" I said.  (I'm not always perfectly willing in my spiritual journey!)  I was able to take several pictures of orbs!  Too fun!  I think it means that we had lots of help for the class!

Claiming our Destiny

We are moving into what is called "Indian Summer" - beautiful warm days and cool evenings.  My favorite time of year.

I had a birthday on Tuesday.  Not sure what that means for me.  I don't feel any different.  My life began at 50 years old it seems and every day after that has been an adventure.  I guess I'm like fine wine . . . aged is better!  At least to myself.  Unlike a fine whine that drones on and on.  I hope I don't whine about life as much as I used to.  I was always living in the "when's."  When I get this done, life will be good.  When I get that accomplished life will be nice.  When I have that or when I acquire this other thing.

I don't know, just something happened along the way and I realized that I wasn't really living.  I was waiting for the next "when" to come.  Even when the "when" got there, I wasn't every really content.

Now I must say that I am a pretty driven person.  I push myself to always be learning and always be open to new insights and new understandings.  Yet, being driven doesn't bring the satisfaction of fulfillment.  Fulfillment for me, comes when I know that my words have brought peace or insights or new awareness to another.  Then I feel fulfilled.  Those other "when's" were never fulfilling.  Being of service - that is the deal.

Not that servitude is the goal, for that's not the case at all.  In fact, I'm pretty sure I've endured some past lives as a servant and am pretty resistant to even seeing a movie about enslavement!  It's being useful while being engaged in one's purpose.

I see a lot of people who are in a field of wandering, wondering what their purpose is.  Yet our purpose can be very simple and yet powerful.  One woman I knew was filled with doubt and struggling with her sense of purpose after she had moved into retirement.  Bless her soul, when Phil and I heard that she was struggling, we both burst into laughter as we instantly knew what her purpose in life was and that she was fulfilling it fully!  This dear woman could light up a room with her smile.  Every one and I mean every single person she came in contact with KNEW that they were valued to her - even strangers.  She had a kind word to say and spoke kindness in every action.  She was genuine and totally present when she was talking with a person.  It was truly awe inspiring to be around someone so powerful with kindness.  When Phil and I shared this with her, she got really quiet and with tears in her eyes, you could see she felt the truth of it.  We haven't seen her since, but I know that she is still out there, fully living her destiny.  Living her destiny whatever else she chooses to put her attention upon in the way of work or hobbies.  It is an intrinsic part of who she is.

I think destiny is like that.  We chase it and search for it when it is within us from the very beginning.  What we are searching for is a clear expression of that destiny.  It is a worthy search.  Begin the search with exploring the inner self.

New Energies Arriving Daily

Just wanted to offer you a quick note to let you know that new energies are in the process of flowing to us.  This new energy contains some new flavors for us to sample.  It's like a cosmic Baskin Robbins where you can taste the ice cream before you buy an ice cream cone.

This new energy is flavored to match our current circumstances and economic situations.  These energies bring us stability and focus in a world filled with fear and trepidation.  Perhaps these energies have been here all along, yet there is something new and different about their arrival.  It as if a shower has been turned on and we can adjust the hot/cold valve to just the right temperature for ourselves.  If we need more focus, turn the energy valve (our intent) to receive cooler energy.  Need to be more relaxed, warm it up a bit.  The energy is all around us and flowing at all times.  Tune the intent to receive focused energy or calm energy.  Adjust the intent's tuner to receive playful energy or healing energy.  As you adjust the intent, opportunities for clarity or for fun will appear.  We still have the resposibility and right to choose to take action or to not, yet the energy to support that choice will be there.

What energy would you like to receive?  Tune in your intent by saying, "I am now open to playful (or whatever) energy."  That energy will flow to you.  Try it!  See how it feels for you!  Wanna share your experience?  e-mail me at janice@janicelynch.com I'd be happy to hear from you and share your story!
