Tarot Layout & Instructions
Foot Crystals - Aligning Your Destiny
Mission Possible

May's Tarot Layout & Instructions
I'd like to share with you a Tarot layout for the month of May. I will describe the layout and how to read it. The layout this month is in the form of a Unicorn/Pegasus. Everyone knows what a Unicorn looks like -- a horse figure with a horn in the center of its forehead. The Pegasus is a winged horse. So our layout features a winged horse figure with a horn in the center of its forehead. Each aspect of this figure will hold the energy of one position of our layout. You may wish to create a stick figure type drawing to assist you in the process of working with this layout.
(in the future I will be able to attach drawings, yet I'm not there yet, so we get to go to plan 'B' for now!)
Step One:  Clear your Tarot cards. (pass them over a flame or breathe on them 3 times and snap your fingers over them 3 times.)
Step Two:  Spread your cards out in front of you. (This gives your intuition another opportunity to be activated as you visually scan for cards.)
Step Three:  Select a card for each of  the numbered position below.  To do this, consider the position and scan the cards to see which card you are drawn to. That is the card that holds the message for you regarding that position. Leave the cards face down until all positions are selected.
Step Four:  Remind yourself of the meaning of the position and turn over its corresponding card.  Whatever your eye is drawn to on the card reveals your message.

Here are the positions:
1.) The body of the figure represents your current situation or the issue (the body of the problem)
2.) The horn represents the point of it. What you are learning. Why this situation is occurring now. 3.) The eyes represent what Spirit would like you to see right now about this situation.
4 & 5.) The back two legs represent past action that got you here.
6 & 7.) The front two legs represent the action to take now that carries you to a clear solution.
8 & 9.) The wings represent Spirit's help for you now. This is not what YOU are to do, but rather how Spirit will help you in this current situation. (So you can know what is your part and what is Spirit's part so you can get out of the way!)
Step Five:  Go back through the cards that you've laid out.  Create a 'story' with the position and the card.  For example:  The my current situation is... (based on the visual message you see in the card for position #1).  What I am learning is ... (2)  What would be good for me to see right now would be ... (3) What I did that got me here is ... (4) and ...(5) What would bring me to a  clear solution would be this action . . . (6)  and that action . . .  (7) And Spirit will help me by ...(8) and by (9).
Insights into your situation will be revealed through this layout.
Remember, Spirit, through your intuition, led you to select the cards you selected, so the cards are correct.  Trust the process.  Discounting yourself will lead to greater confusion.  If you really cannot understand what is being revealed, draw one additional card for confirmation or for explanation of a particular position.  More than one card of confirmation is disrespectful to Spirit!  You are just fishing!  Take a deep breath and walk away for a minute.  When you come back, ask to be led to an understanding of what is being revealed.  You may not like the answer, but trust the process.
Some Tarot decks are easier to understand than others.  The more graphics within each card, the more information to draw from.  In my Tarot classes, I allow new people to test drive my various decks so they can get a feel for the different visuals.  Usually, after a few classes, they find a deck that suits them.  You may wish to try more than one deck to see which one is easiest for you. If you'd like to share your reading with me or have a question, you can e-mail me. mailto:janice@janicelynch.com?subject=May Layout

Foot Crystals - Aligning Your Destiny  (Graphics available soon!)
We put our best foot forward. We take the next right step. We walk away from trouble while walking through trials. We step out into the unknown. We step up or take a step back. We can be stepping out or taking necessary steps. We take things in stride. We walk on the wild side. We walk the line. We take baby steps and walk tall. We back track and take a turn. We can be sure-footed or a tenderfoot. We dig in our heels and we can feel like we’re walking on broken glass. We listen for footfalls and wait for the other shoe to drop. All the while we take steps to fulfill our life’s path.

Let us examine the act of walking.
Walking is the graceful act of nearly falling and catching our balance and nearly falling again. At least it is for a small child. Those first steps lead to a balancing act that propels us in the direction of our choice. It is impossible to move forward while standing still. We must shift our weight to one foot while reaching out with the other. When that foot touches the ground, we then shift our weight to the advancing foot. Once the advancing foot is solidly on the ground, we push off with the first foot and extend our foot for the next step.

While meditating for someone, I was blessed with a vision of crystalline structures within the feet that, when aligned properly, can assist us on our life’s path. If these crystalline structures are not aligned properly, we can experience ill health or blocks to our progress. There are three crystals located on the bottom of each foot. One crystal is at each heal, one at each arch, and one in the ball of each foot. These crystals can be of any type or color, but seem to have a defined shape. The heel crystals are round like a solitaire cut diamond. The arch crystals are double terminated - points on both ends. The crystals at the balls of the feet may be a diamond shape, a pyramid shape, a heart shape or triangular in appearance. The crystals can be all the same color or any combination of colors. The colors are unique to the experience of the individual at that moment in time.

Let’s take a look at the left foot first. The left foot symbolically refers to walking away from trouble or the past, while pushing off to follow through for our next course of action.

The Left Heel Crystal, round in appearance, represents how we are responding to our past. It is our past that makes us who we are today. Yet, without letting go of the past, we are destined to repeat old mistakes. Without letting go, we are anchored to the pain and trauma of the past and unable to move forward, or at best drag ourselves along without joy or enthusiasm. Who doesn’t have hurts and traumas in this life? It is how we walk through them that make the difference.

So, look intuitively into your left foot. Can you see the crystal residing in the heel? Can you imagine that you do? Our imagination is as good as actually seeing. What color is it, or what color might it be if you were to guess? Now be aware of the holder in which it sits – the ring. In the ideal alignment, the crystal rests solidly into the foot while the ring floats freely. The ring helps us to identify the past and allow it to be what it was without holding attachment to it. The crystal gives us solid footing – standing in our past without fear. When we walk the heel comes off the ground first. We release the past in order to move forward.

Adjust your crystal. Is it loose? Tighten it down, or set it in its holder securely. Is the ring too tight? Loosen it so that it rotates easily. If you have a sense that this crystal is clouded, or without luster, or cracked, or otherwise impaired, remove it from your foot and release it to Spirit. Ask Spirit to give you a crystal that is just right for you now. Gently, but firmly, place the crystal into your heel. It will feel comfortable to you and you will immediately feel more at ease and confidant.

Someone shared with me as they assisted others in processing their crystals that the crystals had become imbedded into the body too deeply. This can happen because we’ve had to dig our heels in about something. A light tug will free the crystals so that they are in the proper position. Trust your intuition to guide you in this process, or seek assistance.

What color is your Left Heel Crystal? Blue means you are releasing old emotional wounds. Pink means you are bringing unconditional love to heal your past. Green means that you are working through physical issues brought about by your past. Red means that you are reclaiming your power and/or passion for living. Aqua means that you are learning to protect yourself – Learning self care when others may not have been there for you in the way in which you needed them to be. (i.e. My parents didn’t offer me encouragement even though they loved me, words of encouragement is my main language of love and that was not their strong suit. They gave me physical comfort and safety and truly cared for me. Yet I’ve had to learn to be my own council when it comes to encouragement. This has helped me do things without external praise so that I’m sustained by doing the right thing, rather than achieving other’s approval. Even so, I’ve had to heal my heel regarding this issue.)

Yellow means that you are reclaiming your innocence. The colors purple or violet can signify that you are releasing old spiritual dogma in order to claim true spirituality. Clear means that you are clearing the past on all levels. (We are unique individuals. These definitions are generalizations. Use your own intuition to tell you what the color you observe may mean for you.)

Move now to the Left Arch Crystal. This crystal floats in the center of the arch. Sensing into your body, determine which direction this crystal is pointing. Ideally, the crystal’s double terminated points align toward the toes and toward the heel. Correct alignment of this crystal allows us to learn the lessons the past brings. It also helps us put the past into perspective.

If the crystal is skewed, pointing inward or outward, adjust it so that it is in a straight line with the toes and the heel. Again, note if the crystal is damaged and remove it if necessary. Ask for Spirit to replace it with a crystal that will serve you appropriately at this time, and install the new crystal.

What color is this Left Arch Crystal? Blue means you are learning emotional balance. Pink means you are letting go of judgment. Green means that you are finding value in your past. Red means you are learning to own your own power without taking the power of another. Aqua means that you are learning to invest in yourself. Yellow means that you are learning to play or are finding childlike wonder and joy in all you do. The colors purple or violet can mean that you are seeing how Spirit guides your journey. Clear signifies that you open to new truths. (Again, use your own intuition to tell you the definition of color you observe.)

Moving to the Left Ball Crystal we observe a different shape. Perhaps it is a triangle or a pyramid, or a heart shape or a teardrop shape. You may even have different shape come into your awareness. The shape has some significance, yet the primary purpose of this crystal is to allow an effortless pivot point so we can change directions easily based upon our current circumstances. This crystal gives us the opportunity to change - change ourselves, change our attitudes, change our behavior, change our perspectives. This time the Crystal rotates freely while the supporting ring remains stationary. The supporting ring gives us inner stability so that we can respond without reacting. We can experience life’s changes without becoming reactionary. We live life on life’s terms not based upon our own preconceived notions or expectations.

The shapes give us additional information. A triangle implies that you can see all sides to a situation as you identify areas requiring change in your life. A pyramid implies that you are finding new inner strength so that you can make necessary changes. A heart shape implies that you are changing your very core- your ring true is now based upon a clearer perspective rather than past experiences. A teardrop shape implies that by facing your emotions you are empowered.

What color is your Left Ball Crystal? Blue means emotions empower you – it’s okay to feel. Pink means you are learning to trust. Green means that you taking on your greatness. Red means you are taking on a new passion for living. Aqua means that you are open to new perceptions. Yellow means that you are ready for anything. The color purple or violet indicates that your perceptions of Spirit are changing, or that your intuition has awakened. Clear signifies that your understanding is advancing. (Again, use your own intuition to tell you the definition of color you observe.)

With your left foot clear, it is time to take the next step and look at the right foot.  Symbolically, the right foot is about putting the best foot forward or doing the next right thing.

Observe and repair the Right Heal Crystal and its ring as necessary. Remember that the ring floats freely and the crystal is secure. This gives stability without rigidity – strength to stand your ground without being obstinate. A fully functioning Right Heal Crystal and Ring will give you the confidence to move forward – to put actions into your dreams and plans.

Your colors? Blue means you are acquiring a new dream. Pink directs you to seek loving friendships. Green directs you to move forward in your healing processes. Red means take it on – take on your life! Aqua means believe and you can achieve. Yellow means joy guides your steps. The color purple or violet tell you to walk with Spirit. Clear requires you to be true to yourself. (Again, use your own intuition to tell you the definition of color you observe.)

The Right Arch Crystal aligns you to your destiny – your purpose. Adjust this crystal as necessary.

Your color? Blue means that your hopes bring your destiny into alignment. Pink means that love and faith guide the way. Green means that you are becoming the wounded healer – by overcoming your wounds, you assist others as they heal. Red instructs you to do what you love and love what you do. Aqua means you are becoming a visionary – let your visions/intuitions guide you. Yellow means live, laugh, and love. The color purple or violet indicates that Spirit guides your path. Clear signifies that you wield wisdom. (Again, use your own intuition to tell you the definition of color you observe.)

The Right Ball Crystal sits loosely in its solid ring. This crystal gives us the ability to intuitively adjust to life’s circumstances. When the weather turns cold, we grab a coat. When our friends turn cold, we hold on to Spirit’s warmth. When our car breaks down we either stay home or rent a car. When our spiritual direction is thwarted, we can either find a new way, or rest and regroup. (p.s. one cannot regroup without the group!)

Your color? Blue means your next step is a step into the unknown. Pink means walk with love. Green means comfort surrounds you – every day is better and better. Red means live with passion and power. Aqua means step up to the beauty and wonder of how much you are loved by Spirit. Yellow means follow the yellow brick road! You’re on the right path, keep going! The color purple or violet signifies that yours is a divine path and that your destiny gives much and requires much. Clear signifies you are free – free to choose, free to be, free to follow your heart. (Again, use your own intuition to tell you the definition of color you observe.)

Please know that in order to walk, one must continue to take steps forward. While it is important to stand in our truth, we also walk in faith while believing. Stepping forward, hold steady in your past. Follow through and release the previous step (the past) and step into the future with all confidence, joy, and creativity.

The future is what we make of it. Though we are Divinely inspired toward a destiny, we are not predestined without hope of change or modification. Our free will is the greatest gift Spirit gives us. We may be destined to become a teacher, yet it is our free will choice as to what we might choose to teach and how we choose to do so. We may choose a classroom or we may choose to mentor one person. We may teach English or Math, or we may teach life lessons or spiritual techniques.

What we do today, what we think today, what we believe today, how we feel today, what we aspire to today, creates our tomorrow. The future is fluid. Our will, our intent, our stubbornness, our resistance, our joy, our hope, our willingness become the boulders in the stream. Are we damming up the flow? How do we choose to shape our future?

Move forward in peace and love. Know that every step is a blessing on the sacred journey of life. There are no mistakes. We may create some difficulties for ourselves, yet those difficulties offer us opportunities to learn and grow. So, take the next step with courage and joy.

It is my sincere hope that the discussion of the Foot Crystals has been of assistance to you on your journey. May you walk in love and light.  If you'd like to discuss this further, you may e-mail me at mailto:janice@janicelynch.com?subject=footcrystals

 Mission Possible
I'd like to share with you a powerful spiritual tool - The Mission Statement.  The Mission Statement is a clear, concise statement of truth. Your Truth.  Who you are, where you are going.

The key is to really know one's self.  Who am I? So ask yourself some really important questions like . . .  What are my best three qualities?  Through those qualities you create your world.  Saying, 'I'm a caring person," falls short of the desired result here.  How do you care for others?  In what way does your caring nature take form - THAT is the quality to identify.

Once you've identified three of your best qualities (I know!  It's hard!!  Do it anyway!) go to the next step.  What is it you desire to create?  Loving relationships?  Meaningful career?  Opportunity to experience travel or education?  Peaceful work conditions?  List the three top things you'd like to create.  List three.

Now, ask yourself, "What might be the result."  Would you be more joyfilled?  Would you travel with good friends?  Would you be amply paid for work you love?  What result would you like to attain?  Make note of three results as well as the three things you'd create and your three best qualities.  Make your statements present time.  I create harmony and peace in my life.  As a result, I enjoy traveling with friends, my work is deeply meaningful, etc.

You are at a point of choice, you can continue doing as you've always done, or you can take time to ponder and consider your life's path.  By bringing awareness into your life, you really begin to live.  This mission statement is a powerful tool and is best used by writing these things out and then reading it every morning when you awaken and every night just before you turn the lights out.  This programs you on a  cellular level so that you begin to emit the energy that will draw this destiny towards you.  Do this for at least 6 months.  Within that time, your life will have already begun to shift and change.

The Mission Statement is a powerful tool for life change.  Trust the process.  Do your part - the next right step.  Let God do God's part - everything else!  Fear is just an emotion brought about by our mind judging ourselves and our situation.  Let the judgment go - there is no way to judge the outcome!  Allow your life to unfold.  If there is a step to be taken, pray about it and ask for a sign.  Do what you feel to be the right thing - even if it doesn't work out, it will have been the right thing because there may have been a lesson or an experience that was essential for you to have.

Again, trust the process.  The process will work.  It works the same for me and for you and for everyone else.  Trust that God (Spirit) will guide you, trust that you will see the guidance, trust that the universe will respond to your loving heart.

Fear has no place here.  Fear is the real battle, but that battle can be won in an instant.  In the instant that you choose to trust, you have abolished fear.  It may raise its ugly head now and again - you may feel it in the pit of your stomach.  Recognize it for what it is - judgment based upon your perceptions.  Move into trust or at least ask for willingness to move into trust.  God gives willingness as a free gift.  Once the willingness arrives, you will be in that state of trust again.

Allow yourself to go through the process.  At first it may take you a hundred times a day to move through fear repeatedly.  The next day it will only take 80.  The next day 60.  And so on.  Again, trust the process.  Even if you feel you could never be free of fear, know that it is a judgment based upon the perception of the feeling within your body.  It is not real.

Real fear comes when the floodwaters are rising around us and we scramble out the window into a life boat - that's real fear.  The fear we Americans feel is the self-imposed trauma of judging our environment and our "success" and our worth.  It is time to let that go.  (You may wish to refrain from reading the newspaper and watching the news during this six month period as those things require us to form judgments about things we have no control over as well as things that affect us nill!)

If you choose to take this process on, I'd be happy to assist you.  e-mail me at mailto:janice@janicelynch.com?subject=Mission Statement
