The Divine Fellowship Prayer created as a group effort during services:

One Sunday, Dottie and Bob asked each person present at Services to come up with a word their experience of the Divine Fellowship.  From those words we created a prayer.
Here are the words:
strength, cleanse, acceptance, unconditional love, shine, heartspeak, wisdom, humility, soul, strength, enfoldment, gratitude, insight, compassion, understanding, laughter, grace, shalom, amor, release, connection, blessings, love, journey, wonder, safe, unity, truth, blosson, home, enlightenment, gracious, respectfulness, truth, home, sanctuary, greatness, abundance, path, acceptance, others, knowledge, bodacious, without end, change, light, bright, compassion, energy, spiritual growth, patience, joyful, gratitude, allow.

Here's the Prayer:
Loving Spirit of Light, we are grateful for this Divine Church Home where we feel safe, connected, loved and joyful.  We ask that Angels of Light shine grace on our journey and bring us bodacious laughter and the truth of our Wondrous Destiny.  As Beacons of Light, may we shine our abundant blessings and unconditional love, creating unity with all.

Christopher's Notes:
How to fulfill your spiritual path:
1. Maintain a balance between Heaven and Earth
2. Be in the moment - if you are not operating the the present, you cannot perceive what is being shown to you in each moment, to help you achieve whatis required for your growth.
3. Stop judging or criticizing yourself and other people and situations.
4. Know absolutely that you create your own reality and your own world.
5. Follow your excitement without hesitation - does it make your heart sing or sink?
6. Be responsible for everyt hought and action.  Say what you mean and mean what you say.
7. Maintain control of al the lower bodies - this means to purify the physical, emoetional, mental, and lower spiritual (ego) bodies.
8. Allow the ego to blend with spirit
9. Love unconditionally - all things are "God" in form
10. Have faith and Trust.
Poem:
One ship drives east and another drives west
with the self same winds that blow
'Tis the set of the sails
and not the gales,
That tells us the way to go.

Like the winds of the sea are the ways of fate;
As we voyage along through life,
'Tis the set of a soul
That decides its goal,
And not the calm or the strife.

Divine Fellowship History

Janice and Phil Lynch became ordained ministers in May, 1996.
The First Sunday in November, 1997, The Divine Fellowship had its first service.
Phil came from a catholic background and I, Janice, came from a conservative Christian background.  Yet we both knew there was more to faith than was accepted by modern Christianity.  The Divine Fellowship was a culmination of years of searching for something more.  The Divine Fellowship was a response to our heart's longing for that something more.
It's been 8 years now.  The Divine Fellowship bought a building last April and has been making improvements to create an atmosphere of love and joy -- a spiritual sanctuary.  Though Phil and I are Mystic Christians, having a Christian belief system is not required for membership.  When a person is searching to find their spiritual way, sometimes The Divine Fellowship is the stepping stone to something that satisfies their soul further.  Sometimes The Divine Fellowship is the deep pool from which people gain their spiritual strength.
A usual Sunday - well, they are never usual, but they tend to have some of the same elements like: Phil reads some humorous short stories and jokes.  Laughter is healing to the bones!  He reads quotes from George Carlin the unofficial patron saint (more or less) of the Divine Fellowship.  We appreciate that George doesn't take anything at face value and ponders some pretty far out things.  Then Phil puts a CD on and we sing along to some great rock and roll classics or some Country/Western or some modern stuff.  There are some really spiritually uplifting music out there, like Calling All Angels.  I will share some thoughts in a short message and we offer communion as a Christian Tradition though anyone present is invited to participate.  Then I lead everyone through a guided meditation.  This is a favorite part for many as it gives them time to connect with God and receive messages directly through the imagery they receive.
The first Sunday of the month is a Healing Sunday.  Sometimes there is actual physical healing that takes place and sometimes it is a process that lets each person find their own healing in their own way.  Those processes come to me in deep meditative states.  They are a bit hard to describe so you may just have to give it a test drive!
The Third Sunday of the month, Christopher Turner, a catholic priest from the Liberal Catholic Church comes in to share some thoughts with us.  Christopher has studied Rosecrusians, Egyptian Mysticism and other major religions.  He is quite interesting and relies heavily upon his guides for inspiration and direction.  Phil usually leads the guided meditation on the Third Sunday.
Many of the members of the Divine Fellowship have talents and abilities that they share through classes and workshops.  Darryl Morrison teaches people how to make an authentic Native American Hoop drum.  There is a Drumming Circle (Free) on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 6:30.  There are Tarot classes, various healing classes and activities throughout the week.
The Divine Fellowship may not be right for you.  We just know that is it right for us.  We experience joy, enlightenment and spiritual sanctuary.  The Divine Fellowship is located at 513 Barth Street, Richland, Washington - one block off George Washington Way.
